Dr. Bruce Empringham

Dr. Bruce Empringham is a family doc, who after a stint in North Bay, Ontario, joined the insurance industry in 1991 with London Life. One of his first friends in the business was our own Izumi Miki McGruer. He was primarily involved in underwriting life coverage for the Canada Life group of companies and in 2020, transitioned to a role with Canada Life working on large cases with clients and advisors directly.

He’s always tried to think like a customer and help with the communications around applications and decisions. He also strongly believes in the importance of industry groups like Advocis and never turns down an opportunity to support these groups.
