Empire Life Leadership Changes

We are pleased to announce the following executive appointments.

Steve Pong is being appointed Senior Vice-President, Retail, responsible for distribution, marketing, product development, pricing and operations.

Steve was previously Senior Vice-President, Group Solutions and has a long history with Empire Life, having joined the company in 1997 and held senior roles in both our Group and Retail divisions. He has a deep knowledge and understanding of the company, our products and distribution and a strong management background in banking, manufacturing and consumer goods. Steve was appointed Vice-President, Individual Marketing and Service in 2001, before moving to the Group line in 2007, first as Vice-President, then as 
Senior Vice-President.

Michael Perry, who joined Empire Life in 2016 as Vice-President, Group Product and Marketing is being appointed Senior Vice-President, Group Solutions. Michael has more than 20 years of senior marketing, product development and business effectiveness experience in the banking sector. Michael has proven himself to be an innovative and collaborative leader with a keen appreciation for strategic distribution partnerships.
